In 1989 Donald Ratsch, an American amateur radio operator, recorded a transmission from space shuttle Discovery reporting contact with an alien spacecraft. Denied by NASA, the tape has now been validated by an analysis of speech reversals found in the astronaut's report. Conclusion: not only is the transmission valid but the encounter was actually taking place at the time it was recorded.

I visited the hyperlink, and found it was very easy to navigate. The information goes into considerable detail about the incident itself. He has done a careful examination of the recording at hand. My conclusion is that the information available suggests the auditory transmission is authentic and adds to the growing body of evidence that we are not alone in the universe.
