My recall on this is coming back now. Some of my Native American brothers and
sisters, who didn't know about the newspaper article from the area mentioned
that they had gotten pictures of some black helicopters hanging around an
Indian reservation near Billings. They just thought it was weird to see the
black helicopters and happened to have a camera and took a picture and later
mentioned the incident. Also, several crop circles have appeared in Montana in
the last several years; however, I cannot confirm their authenticity because I
didn't personally investigate them to get samples for a lab. Some cattle
mutilations have been rumored in Montana this year, although I do not have any
direct reports or knowledge about these.
Montana is a sparsely populated state along the Canadian border with less than
1 million residents total. Billings is a relatively large city by Montanan
standards that is predominately agricultural and one of the few areas where it
gets hot enough to grow corn in the state. With five Indian tribes in the
state, Montana has recognized the contributions of native people in recent
decades. Further, Montana was the first state in the union to give women the
vote, because they needed to add women to get enough votes to join the union.
An article once introduced the state's character by saying that if Montana were
a woman she would show up on a first date wearing a pair coveralls, carrying a
shot gun and driving a battered pick-up truck and you wouldn't be able to help
falling in love with her. The people who got a picture of a black helicopter
hanging around one of the Indian reservations said they were riding their
horses and the helicopter was hovering over a hill they crested. This gives
you an idea of the area in which these recent events have occurred. Regards,
